Summary
Jack and his mother were very poor. One day Jack takes their only cow and sells it for handful of beans. His mother is very angry, and tells Jack to throw the beans out the window! By the next morning the magic beans have grown into a gigantic beanstalk. Jack climbs the beanstalk and finds a large castle at the top. In the castle is a goose that lays golden eggs. Jack takes the goose, and sets off back down the beanstalk. A giant follows Jack. When Jack gets to the bottom of the beanstalk, he chops it down. The giant falls, and is killed
